The Health Research Board CRCI (Clinical Research Coordination Ireland), supported by IPPOSI, established a Clinical Research Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) Working Group in 2018. The task of the working group is to romote active and meaningful PPI as part of the infrastructure for clinical research in Ireland. The working group has established a repository of PPI tools and resources for clinical research. The repository includes guidance on how to do PPI, planning for PPI, working with the public, evaluating and measuring impact, designing patient information, guidance for public. The repository can be accessed here. The working group meets quarterly online.

The Clinical Research Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) Working Group members include representatives and staff members from IPPOSI, HRB-CRCI, Clinical Research Facilities and Centres, Hospitals, Universities, Patient Groups and the Healthcare Industry.
