The Irish Centre for High End Computing (hosted at NUI Galway) invited two public and/or patient representatives to join the Advisory Committee overseeing the DASSL Linked Health Data Research Project. The PPI representatives provide a public and patient perspective on how to provide safe access to health data and how to develop ways to share or link existing data responsibly for the benefit of people’s health and patient care. The PPI representatives took up their responsibility from August 2020 to November 2021.

One representatives is a member of the public, the other is a patient. The patient representative was identified by a patient organisation. A description of the role was provided to the PPI representatives.
