The PPI Ignite Network Coordination Office is hosted by NUI Galway. To support public and/or patient involvement activities among the research community in NUI Galway, the PPI Ignite Network established a Public Advisory Panel. The Panel comprises of ten public and/or patient representatives. Since January 2019, members of the Panel have contributed to the development of the PPI Ignite programme in NUI Galway by attending the PPI Ignite Steering Committee meetings, by co-authoring publications and articles with members of the NUI Galway research community, by peer reviewing research grant applications, by co-developing and co-facilitating PPI education activities, and by co-managing specific research projects within NUI Galway.
