There are four Regional Health Groups: West, South, Dublin Mid Leinster and Dublin North East. The Forum includes public office representatives from the city and county councils within that area. The Fora make representations to the HSE on the range and operation of health and personal social services in their area, and the HSE in turn provides administrative services to the Forum. One of the functions of the HSE’s Regional Offices is to ensure that appropriate administrative support is provided for the operation of the Regional Health Fora.
