The Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) is involving public and/or patient (PPI) representatives in the development of its National Standards for Children’s Social Services. Its aim is to gain insights from people using services as to what are the key issues that standards or guidance should address, and to seek feedback on draft documents to ensure they will improve the experience of people using health and social care services. The patient and/or public (PPI) representatives share important opinions and views throughout the project.
